Sneech is currently in the alpha/prototype stage, and testing is limited to a a small number of invited people. I'm slowly adding all of the important features from the original game, and added some new things also! The game is currently developed for iPhone, but a Windows and a Mac version will most certainly follow as soon as I get a little further with adding the core features.

Installation: I wont go into detail here about installing the Ad-Hoc version of the game, but the process is the same as that of my other games so read this page for info.

NOTE: The above Alpha release is for iPhone, and will only work if you've pre-registered your iPhone with me. A public Sneech beta for Windows will come soon enough, and Mac soon after.

Upcoming Features (the next 2 weeks)

  • Alternative input modes (touch directions, tilt control, left/right turns, any others!)
  • Basic Shop Screen - Even if it's a temporary thing for now
  • Final Results Screen - The Winner announcement screen!
  • Bombs, Super Scooper, etc.
  • More Special FX - Some subtle and not so subtle effects never seen in original
  • Doors - Must get these added soon
  • Match Results - Speed/Size/Rate and RANDOM FACTOR awarded similar to original.
  • Basic CPU AI that attacks you, and avoids obvious traps
  • Most game sounds added
  • Reverses
  • Basic Configurable League - Setup number of games, snakes, etc.
  • Slip Mats, and Slow Mats!
  • The Slopes & Ramps
  • Sneech Door - opens at the end and you have to escape through
  • Screen Fades - Characteristic Sneech Screen Fades (fade to red, white explosions etc.)

Upcoming Experiments

  • Will try out a HUD system showing info like money collected, bombs/reverses left, extra life, etc.
  • Must try out camera zooming In/Out feature so we know if it's going to work out ok!
